May 14^th, 2012 TROOP 672 MEETING ANNOUNCEMENTS

• You must pay your Makajawan final balances TONIGHT to avoid penalties. Medical forms are also past due!
• There will be a mandatory new parent orientation during the troop meeting next week (May 21). Please plan to attend.
• Parents, if you can help us transport scouts to or from MaKaJaWan please see the sign up sheets for drivers. We need help this year.
• Heads up!  The Emergency Preparedness MB group will be repeating their mock emergency test of our phone tree for one of their merit badge requirements on Tuesday.  Please answer your phone!
• Scouts planning to do Brotherhood at Makajawan, make sure your OA 2012 dues are paid now.  They are $11 and can be paid online!
• Thanks to Mr. Farley and all of the parents who helped with the Middle School Religious Award overnight: Mrs. Shutt, Mrs.Frye, Mr. Marcus, and Mr. Maguire.
• We head for White Pines State Park on Friday. Meet here at 5:30, please eat your dinner before you come.
• We are still one seat short for the White Pines trip. We need another leader to sign up, or parents to drive us to and from the park on Friday and Sunday
• Join the Venture crew on a backpacking trek to Isle Royale this summer. The trip will take place from June 10^th to the 16^th. The cost is approximately $200. Scouts must be 14 or older. There is one opening left.  $100 deposit is due now.
• Venture Crew: Sea Base sign up and $100 deposit are due tonight. There are two Coral Reef Sailing Adventures available: June 8-14 and June 10-16-2013. We need at least 12 scouts and leaders to sign up to book both boats. See Mr. Flood if you have questions.
• Join the fun at the Gages Lake Carp Fishing Derby on June 9. No fishing license required. Mr. Flood will be leading some fishing basics sessions as the derby draws nearer.
• Are you current on your dues? Seventeen scouts have fallen behind!
